The Position: The Senior Sales Manager has responsibility for optimizing critical growth initiatives for the wire rod industry. Concentration on revenue enhancement and maximum profitability.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop wire rod market to meet and exceed annual forecast.
  • Increase market share and margins to enhance company profitability.
  • Increase rod sales as directed by VP, Rod, Rebar, & Industrial Wire Sales.
  • Develop key relationships with key decision makers.
  • Make commercial recommendations based on solid market analysis.
  • Generate and analyze market information to share with the entire Liberty Team.
  • Represent Liberty at various Associations and Conferences as required.
  • Develop a strong relationship with Operations, Technical, Scheduling and all other internal teammates.
  • Participation in all weekly meetings and conference calls is essential.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Travel 50-75% of job - Must be willing to travel to accommodate customer needs.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university.
  • Experience in sales and/or commercial operations of wire rod, industrial wire, or related products preferred.
  • Strong forecasting and strategic planning skills are required.
  • Must be proficient in use of personal computers and Microsoft Office software.
  • Demonstrated outstanding selling capabilities in meetings sales and performance goals.
  • Must understand how to work within the organization to achieve goals and generate successful strategic results.
  • Ability to work with top executives and carry professional presence.

Willing to explore and talk to the right candidate with transferrable skills from top industry leaders.

PAY RANGE: $107,300- $128,750
