The Position: We are looking for an Accounting Manager of Inter Company Facilities to perform general accounting duties for Liberty Bar Products, as well as accounting duties at Liberty Steel and Wire and other facilities. The right candidate will ensure the accuracy and timeliness of information and reports used in reporting Company's financial position. The salary range for this position is $61,860- $77,328- $92,784.

  • Direct all aspects of accounting and oversee all transactions related to general ledger, receivables, payables, payroll, and financial reporting.
  • Reconcile and review balance sheet accounts using queries and analysis.
  • Responsible for complete and accurate presentation of financial statements and internal control processes.
  • Work with the Corporate Financial Reporting Manager who will manage all SEC and SOX reporting requirements.
  • Analyze Company's financial results with respect to profits, trends, costs, and compliance within budgets.
  • Complete monthly reports included in reporting package sent to Corporate and distributed to staff.
  • Develop and maintain all necessary accounting policies and systems, including general ledger and financial reporting.
  • Ensure that records are maintained in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles.
  • Assist senior management in financial forecasting, planning and results management.
  • Work with other team members to understand revenue and cost drivers and define appropriate reports for tracking.
  • Coordinate, prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
  • Manage and facilitate all outside CPA audit activities within timelines and budgets.
  • Compliance with all required federal, state, local, payroll, property, and other applicable taxes. Interact with auditors to explain key issues.
  • Proficient in most accounting and auditing functions.
  • Business plan preparation and review.
  • Other finance and administrative duties and projects as assigned.

***Position to be based at Liberty Steel & Wire, monthly travel to subsidiary locations may be required.


  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university in a related field and ten plus year's relevant experience.
  • CPA/CMA required.
  • Must be capable of using personal computers and Microsoft software.
  • Strong communication, organizational, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
  • Must be organized and capable of handling multiple tasks and priorities.
