The Position: We are looking for an IT Software Developer to apply system solutions to business problems through the design and programming of automated systems. A C# developer responsible for configuring, creating, reviewing, analyzing, and modifying programming systems to include coding, testing, debugging, documenting, and publishing programs to support business processes and functions. The Developer should be fully knowledgeable in ERP programming languages to include responsibilities for designing, building and maintaining anything from back-end services to client-side components, web, and mobile applications.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, code, test, and install complex computer programs based on technical specifications using the ERP development environment and the ERP developer's toolset (Epicor.)
  • Meet with business users to analyze complex business processes, gathering information regarding programming needs, objectives, functions, features, and input and output requirements, and recommend technical solutions.
  • Perform development for small to medium projects by defining project scope, checking progress and deadline, and updating project status to manager and functional users in a timely manner.
  • Assist users with system regression testing related to enhancements, patches, bundle releases, interface changes, system upgrades.
  • Re-apply custom modifications if a customization is affected by a vendor maintenance release.
  • Work with users and IT members on a routine basis to troubleshoot reported problems pertaining to application software.
  • Identify the cause, design, or develop an approach for resolution.
  • Upon approval, implement the correction/customize software.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address business process issues and with technical teams to ensure system integrity.
  • Develop skillsets both personally and technically by attending appropriate training and learning on the job.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university in Computer Science, Information Technologies, or related discipline.
  • Experience with application design and development utilizing Visual Studio (C# and SQL), Experience with HTML, CSS, jQuery, REST and API's.
  • Knowledge of Structured Query Language (SQL).
  • Experience designing, developing, and documenting technical solutions based on user requirements.
  • Technical ERP development experience in manufacturing environment a plus.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university in Computer Science, Information Technologies, or related discipline.
  • Experience with application design and development utilizing Visual Studio (C# and SQL)
  • Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, REST and API's.
  • Knowledge of Structured Query Language (SQL).
  • Experience designing, developing, and documenting technical solutions based on user requirements.
  • Technical ERP development experience in manufacturing environment a plus.
  • Epicor ERP systems experience a plus.
  • Experience writing Business Activity Queries and dashboards desired.
  • Experience with Epicor Everywhere Framework, Service Connect, Crystal/SSRS reports, Epicor BPMs, Epicor functions, Epicor's UI AppStudio, Epicor's REST toolkit, and Bartender desired.

This position has the opportunity for remote work if the candidate is willing to travel with periodic, extended stays in various US facilities as needed.
